Almost every company does this. Look at the Wopper. On the commercials it looks plump and fresh. When you get it, it looks as if someone is required to sit on it before serving it to you.
I'm a chiver living in Germany. Most of these are easy to find in Lidl or Aldi. And yep, the product does not match the product with the looks. Although Hanuta and Kinder Country are pretty damn tasty.
