I would love to have one. I don’t move around much in my home, but it would be kinda cool to discover a new room every once in a while. I also want to have a door that leads to a pit just for fun. Or a door that leads to a brick wall on the other side. Or even a make-shift dungeon. Ahh, good times!
Most of these are beautiful! I grew up in a large home and I loved it. Big homes are easy to keep clean as there is space for the things and stuff we use every day. That can be a simple as counter space in the kitchen and bathrooms to storage space for exercise stuff, kid’s games and Christmas decorations. I now live in a smaller place and it is harder to keep clean and un-cluttered.
What makes a mansion is the inside. Many are just “show homes” with expanses of pointless space that serves no purpose except to impress others. But the great ones are livable with practical, comfortable spaces like kitchens, gyms, games rooms, greenhouses, libraries, offices, kid’s rooms etc.
The down side is that they are expensive at all get out to maintain.
I have the knack and talent to live in a home like that. I live in a small home and I agree it's no easy task to keep it up but do. But I love big homes a cleaned proper mansions. I have a large series of pics on my homepage. i would have to disclose that I have if you would a fetish for them. Even in the house I am in there are several items that are expensive and when I clean here I wear white gloves. Just to be sure that I have cleaned properly.
