I own a 911, I would have to do some math but I believe the raw weight of the gold, assuming it is not just a fancy paint job, even if it is jutst gold leaf would add a significant amount of weight to the point where even with significant engine / drive train modifications the auto would be slow. So real gold car == too much weight == slow.
Anyway I am a fan of dropping weight not adding it… but the gold is interesting
