Quite a few of these are not bird strikes at all. For example, the pictured Emirates aircraft actually suffered a loss of fan blades from the engine, which failed outwards and caused the damage you see here.
I did not realise what a mess a big bird does to an aircraft,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nor did I realise how much damage a big plane does to our feathered friends
