YOU'RE ALL JUST JEALOUS CAUSE HE ACTUALLY TOOK THE TIME TO DRAW SOMETHING GREAT WHEREAS ALL YOU ASSHOLES DISSING HIM ARE STARING AT IT ON A FRICKIN COMPUTER AND CRITICIZING SOMETHING YOU'VE PROBABLY NEVER DONE OR EVER COULD DO…. I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU CRITICS WITH SOME DAMN ARTWORK!

Apparently you have never learned the correct use of capitalization or punctuation. Try typing like a civilized person before you go rambling about how other people don't know what they are talking about.

    great job

  • Lisanne

Unbelievable how beautiful as this looks. Wish I could do that…

  • Long time artist

I wonder if those of you who are calling this guy out and saying it isn't art, have actually attempted drawing like this? It takes an incredible amount of skill and perserverance to achieve results like this, let alone photo-realistic results. It may not be creative, but it is certainly an artwork in my view.

Do not forget that art is subjective. You may all think this isn't art because it is copying something, but then again I don't see lines and circles on a canvas being sold for thousands of dollars as being art either.

There is an art to being able to replicate, record and translate something real onto a piece of paper or onto a canvas. You are all so used to cameras that you have forgotten this and take it for granted. Just remember that drawings and paintings were the only ways in which one could record a scene many years ago.

    It’s beautiful,,

    Amazing..

How could someone said that it’s not art.?

    It is indeed..

Everything that others can do and you know you cant?its talent..

And the maker of this drawings/paintings are master of art.. Many can draw but can you make it look so alive?if no..and you cant appreciate others work just shut up..

  • Red

This is not the art.this guy is copying images. And those who tell this an art, are fooooooooooooollll.

  • Richard

This is indeed art. As to photography is also an art. But I give Much more credit on this guy than i could give myself as a photographer. Having a human to pose for you and and create an angle that best describes the character at full beauty is hard enough to take pictures let alone draw or paint. For those who can not appreciate the guys works please just don't say anything bad. I believe he put his whole heart into creating those portraits and that i believe is the most basic character of art.

    MUCH RESPECTS Krzysztof Lukasiewic ,
TRULY A MASTER IN ONE OF THE HARDEST STYLE OF ART, PORTRAITS !!!
WORKS THIS QUALITY REQUIRES YEARS OF HARD WORK AND DEDICATION TO ACHIEVE !!! ITS HARD ON PAPER AND JUST AS HARD ON SKIN… MANY OF MY TATTOO ARTIST PEERS WOULD PREFER TO AVOID PORTRAIT WORKS ALL TOGETHER DUE TO THEIR DIFFICULTY LEVELS!!!!

SO THIS IS ART AND BLOODY BEAUTIFUL ONES TOO !!!!

I disagree Hooch. These are better than the things I see in the mall/on the street. There’s always something that is just “not right” in those other ones. Each of these, I recognized the people right off, and there is a light that seems to come from inside each person.

I wish I had that talent.

    Thanks Leo. 😉

TheLogicalConclusion – Art is subjective. It”s all in the eye of the beholder. Kinda like I think you’re full of shit. See?

  • axeholes

I agree and disagree with werk’s statement just above:

    – All art styles can, and have been emulated, tweaked and reinterpreted since the dawn of art…so to say “anyone can do this” or “my printer/robot can do this” is moot…of coarse most anyone can emulate Krzysztof’s work above (I’m pretty close in skill, and know plenty who are better)…….but the same goes for most any art style (that’s a no brainer).
Realism for the sake of copying reality is bland, but so is Impressionism for the sake of being different.

Art is a matter of personal taste & expression – there are no standards.
