I live in Canada and I’ve never seen a lobster roll or a my poutine at any McDonald’s ever.
My friend mentioned eating lobster at McDonalds in Massachuset. I wonder if it was the McLobster. BTW, howcome we don’t get onion rings here? Those are much better than fries IMHO.
I had the McLobster in Cape Breton about 12 years ago (I think it is purely a Maritime province special). I have never see the Poutine in any McDonalds in all the years I lived in Canada but I have seen it in Canadian A & W’s
We have a Mega Mac on the menu.
It is a Big Mac but made with 2 Quarter Pounder patties instead of the 2 normal hamburger patties.
So…
The Lobster roll is only in the Maritmes (New Brunswik PEI, Nova Scotia)
&
The Poutine is a incredibly popular snack in Quebec. (Not the Mcdonalds one tho)
Fries topped with Cheese curds & gravy.
TBH, Lobster is probably not crap compared to everything else the Americans eat…
Anyways – This title is redundant, because everything in Mcdonalds is crap.

Real poutine – the stuff you buy from a street cart in Quebec city or Hull is delicious (and decadent). The A & W stuff is okay in a pinch – like when you are in Calgary and are jonesing for some. It will do. The lobster roll was blah- I ate it out of curiosity. Why anyone would eat one of those when many of the parish kitchens in the area have lobster dinners (cheap too) at the same time is a mystery
Complete misrepresentation. Alot of these products were discontinued over 15 years ago. Not to mention somebody clearly gave some of these products their own unflattering makeover before taking the picture. lame.
Don’t diss the bacon roll. It’s part of the breakfast menu and I used to live off them.

I would seriously kill to be able to buy a Cheese Katsu burger at McDonalds here in Canada. Katsu is pretty much the Mac and Cheese of Japan so I can see how it ended up as a fast food item. Sooooo good.

McLobster: Seafood is nothing to gamble on. I have a feeling it’s really bad or really fake. Lobster and cockroach look too similar to even try that..

I’ve had lobster rolls in Maine and Connecticut – purely a seasonal item – but they are good, and give the local versions a run for the money pricewise.
But gimme that katsu-don on a roll any day, that looks good for a McDonnerrs
