I think I actually believe the breakup story. It seems unrealistic at first, but I guess I do know people that are so narcissistic they wouldn’t remember you telling them you’d be away for two weeks, nor would they have the patience or caring to find out what was going on. As for being out of reach for two weeks, who wants to ruin their vacation by talking to people at home all the time?
