I’m so not OK with that spider photo
WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT THING IN THE LAST PICTURE?!?!? FUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKK I AM GOING TO HAVE NIGHTMARES NOW! THANKS YA FUCKERS! LOL!
Giant river salamander, typically found in China. They can get to 7 feet long and have teensy teeth . They grab thier victims and rotate, which has severed fingers from salamander-hunters. I sooo want one to live in my moat.
I’d go for the bear, really. You think it’s a friendly bear, there yo give you a hug, then WHAM! Godless killing machine.
@ last photo. do not want
^ lolz
also, kill all spiders bigger than my fist. that is all.
I actually think that’s some kind of crab
The last picture is a salamander

Love the horses expression: DO NOT WANT!
The giant salamander is, believe it or not, called the Giant Salamander. One species, which may or may not be the one pictured, is called a Hellbender. (lol!)
That’s not a hell bender, it is as HHNF stated a giant salamander, the hell bender is found in rivers in Japan mostly though they can be found in China and have cousins in the America’s though limited to some streams in the Carolina’s and old dominion states that are as close to pure as you can get in water quality. The ones in Japan reach up to 6 feet in length and are easy to discern from the giant salamander by r ribbon or fringe that runs along its sides from front to rear leg.
This has been one of the best Randomness posts. And I’d like to be behind that girl in the AT-AT walker costume… lol
That dog in the last picture is awesome, I want one!
Dearest Bringers of Awesome @ TheChive,
I have seen some things on this site that have made me cringe, made me nauseous, made me laugh until my computer must be thoughroughly cleansed of vodka, and made me want to be celibate for the entirety of my life. However.
WARN SOMEONE ABOUT SPIDER PICS!!!! I have never before jumped up in front of my tough male co-workers, went, ‘WTFKFCBBQSAUCE’ and done the Homer Simpson ‘getitoff’ dance until I saw that. You must now compensate me for therapy and brainbleach, as I will see that in my sleep until I die.
this made up for a couple of shitty weeks in spades- you redeemed yourselves excelently!!!!!
a really excellent collection of pics,,,,,,,,,,,,,,love the 2 monkeys hitching a ride ( as they dismantle the cars )
