I agree wholeheartedley, it makes it more difficult to browse at work like i usually do.

Change it back to the old facebook layout, i’m not paying $1.99 a month to use facebook, if 1,000,000 people join this group I’ll change my name to Batman etc.

I just measured.
On my screen, the logo and menu bar up top take up 20% of the website’s space.
It’s very annoying that they stay at the top now. There’s not even enough space left to show a full picture sometimes. The Chive has become unreadable to me.

I’m posting this just in case I’m not the only one who’s bothered. I hate watching websites get worse and worse the older and more popular they get. It doesn’t make any sense to me.

Lighten up? Would you say that to the parents of these kids? I think not. These KIDS look about 15-16 years old which isn’t old enough to responsibly drink which is also obvious from the way they are showing off their alcohol. Like dr said, “People that are of age don’t usually insist on flaunting the alcohol that they legally bought in pictures.”

I am not against teenagers drinking but only in the presence of their parents or responsible adults who are supplying the alcohol is when it should be allowed. I had a drink or two occasionally when I was “underage” but my parents were there. These kids are obviously looking to get hammered and are not supervised. They are also at a younger age where drinking like this could lead to long term problems. So you might not want to tell someone to “lighten up”. This is the first thing that I have seen on The Chive that I have really taken issue with.

Woody, MP means “Member of Parliament” here in Canada. And in Ontario the legal drinking age is 19 which they still look younger than.
