I'm amused that so many people assume that, because they aren't thin, that they don't exercise. I'm not thin, but I work out every day. I'll bet these ladies do, also. That's why they have curves instead of lumps, and you don't see any cellulite (which comes from eating crap, not being fat).
Its so refreshing that V magazine, especially being a high fashion mag did something so different! 2010 is the year for real women!!! Some women have weight issues but why feel like you’re ugly when really you’re drop dead gorgeous. enough with the bullshit of going on diets when you’re 9. Sorry, but these women are hot. I am very disappointed with the fashion industry for portraying the perfect woman as a super skinny bone rack, it is creating a false image of healthy that young girls are trying to fulfill, which leads to bulimia, anorexia, and low self esteem. But here is something else to chew on, most leading fashion designers are gay men, most supermodels look like 10 year old boys, you guys make the connection.
And for all you guys out there that like a size 0/2, if you are every alone at night, just drill a hole in a coat rack, you won’t notice a difference. Personally, I like a woman that I can grab on to.

They look good because their bodies are fairly toned and they have beautiful body shapes.
Even on a medical basis, ALL of these women would be considered obese. Their size is NOT normal (they must be over size 16.. the averge for even a chubby american woman is size 12.)
YES, they are curvy, and gorgeous, and I have no doubt that there are many, many men who find them worlds more attractive than the skeletons we have walking around these days.
However, just because they are not stick thin doesn’t mean they are “normal” or “healthy” because a person of that size, no matter what they look like, is overweight. You can find them attractive (because they certainly are) but to imply it is a normal size for a healthy person to be, is completely wrong.

I feel like the problem is that they're all dressed like skinny models. If they were wearing normal clothes these girls would be hot. But even most cheerleaders wouldn't look good in half of those outfits, they're not even wearing pants most of the time. Dress them in something Kim Kardashian would wear and they'd look great.
