okay why where people getting out of their cars while it was still moving?
Some people seem to think that if their brakes can’t stop their cars in the snow that maybe they can get out and stop their car themselves. Seriously i’m not kidding….oh and if you noticed they are all woman. One stereotype thats actually true.

i guess you have never driven on ice before? Those people should never have gotten into their cars in the first place. It is impossible to stop your car when its slides downhill on ice.
haha. I live in Colorado and have driven down worse inclines, in worse conditions, at faster speeds. notice the other cars in the video not getting in accidents? But you are right stopping on ice is very difficult.
also, i bet the ones that got in the accident were accelerating and then slammed the breaks. Lay off gas, shift into low gear, and if need tap the breaks.

Well in one of the first shots, it seems like the wheels aren’t even in motion and the car is just gliding despite any braking.
The cars aren’t even going fast enough to really hurt anyone inside .. did any airbag even deploy? I could see if you’re headed over a cliff etc but these cars are going max 20 mph.

Common sense people, when your states governor declares a state of emergency and he along with state and local emergency officials tell you to stay off the roads in a state that rarely gets snow and is populated by people who don’t know how to drive in the snow then you stay home and off the roads. The last near three weeks we have had snow storm after snow storm come through Virginia and the DC area and each time the governor and state emergency officials have said on all forms of public broadcast to stay off the roads but as always no one listens and this is why there are Darwin awards.
I hole certain people in a category I call ” Too Stupid To Live”. Jumping out a moving car grants your instant acceptance to the group.
I just wish the stupid bitches that jumped out of their MOVING CARS AND HOPING THAT THAT WOULD STOP THEM got sandwiched and knocked the fuck out for awhile. I mean c’mon, anyone that godamn stupid does not deserve to be on the raod. They will end up hurting someone..eventually.
