I don’t think the point was that it was hard. I think it was just a cool idea and the Pixies song they chose made it just absolute perfection. It’s a very soothing video and looks like a lot of fun.

This is damn stupid.
Hills are safer due to less pot holes and face plants on a hillside covered in snow seems more soothing than trying to stop a 30mph tumble through the streets with cars right behind you.
Because there were soooo many cars behind him in that video.
looks like a helluva lot of fun. Though that would suck if he fell when with a car right behind him.
We used to just use inner tubes from tractors and a tow chain.
