why didnt you use the clash picture that cyrus is imitating? it was in the reddit thread that you stole this idea from too.
probably bc the clash kinda sucked?
really? the clash and johnny cash suck? these comments are out of control.
We went from a bigot to someone playing rockband? I’m ok with that.
Reddit much?
only thing is Johnny Cash wasnt “pop” music at that point back then buddy. That was Elvis or the Beatles, no one gave a shit about hilly billy music back then except the hillbillies. So if you want to compare that to a genre today, how bout one that no one cares about other than the diehards who like it, for instance Noise.
Happy birthday Johnny!
i love mily cirus
And your spelling abilities, asd, lead me to believe you are “Miley Cyrus’” target audience. God, you even have ADD as you can’t spell out a proper nickname.
She’s hard core
Fuckin a
Miley, if you’re going to act like Pete Townsend, you need to use a real guitar. And tell the guy behind you to plug in his patch cord.

wow…whoever likes miley can like miiiiiley and whoever likes cash can like caaash…who gives a crap? i love johnny cash and i think miley or however you spell the chicks name, has a cute show for the teens or tweens….let her be she’s not singin for you so shuttup!!!
The Clash London Calling FTW!
Neither of these two were representative of pop culture in their times. Both of them appealed to niche audiences, and dramatically different niches at that. So a terrible comparison that fails at being funny because it doesn’t “prove” your point.
A better use of this idea would be to compare The Who to Katy Perry, or something along those lines. Legitimate talent that was played on mainstream radio versus untalented trash that is causing people to tune out of mainstream radio at a rapid pace.
That is why Johnny Cash was, is, and always shall be the man.

What’s worse, she’s actually smashing up a Wii GH controller.
How lame.

When I was a kid my parents hated the music I listened to and now I see parents dancing to their kids music at weddings. I think the problem is that we have it too good, teenagers have nothing to complain about anymore, they aren’t forced to go to war when they turn 18, their parents give in to everything and tell them they are most special person on earth and even nerds get laid now. All that equals is a bunch of spoiled, egotistical people who think Kayne West is actually a creative genius.

if anybody needs to get their ass kicked it’s the guitar player in the bottom photo
