I’m gonna be all anal *giggity* and say that #1 is doin it right. Mongoose (mongeese? Mongooseses? Monganders?) are excellent snake killers. Many people keep them around just to kill snakes that wander in.
Regarding #25, there’s another bank in the southern U.S. called Compass Bank. On most of their signs, the neon lighting sections are divided into “Comp,” “Bank” and, of course, the third set of letters. Finding one where the “Comp” isn’t lit up is always good comedy.
