#1 is a photoshop. Saw it on an early episode of Mythbusters. Still pretty fucked up though.
Pretty sure you’re mistaken about that. I remember the episode you’re talking about and that pic’s not in it. The episode (I remember vaguely) was about the ability to bifurcate a boat cleanly and it can’t be done, as the bifurcating object won’t split the bow from the tip (which is backed up by this picture). It also wouldn’t make much sense to shop it, as things like this happen quite frequently.
+1 for using bifurcate/bifurcating in a sentence.

I’ve seen #7 happen. Not that specific one, but one very very much like it.
Some people trying to add a second story to their house, I guess. The crane lifted the roof up, and it looked like they were trying to add structural members underneath it to form the second story … but it was too heavy for the crane, and …. well, first the roof slammed back into the top of the first story from about 8-10 feet up, then the boom of the crane came down on top of it and chopped the roof in half before continuing on through the first floor.
I tried to take a picture of it with my phone, but it didn’t come out too well, sadly.
