Remember Vlade Divac? He was like 6.10″ and would flop down, as if he just got hit by a bus, anytime a 6.1″ point guard backed into him and would usually get the call. Batters in baseball sometimes stand too close to the plate then lean back when the pitch goes over the corner as if it were way outside and nearly hit them. It happens in every sport, not just soccer. It’s very rare, but sometimes the ref will give a yellow card to players that fake it. In hockey, they’ve finally started giving penalties to players that take a dive too.

you do realise the guy in white does a dive and the guy in blue is just copying him as a sign of "look what he did".

His body language shows that he's upset and he's showing what happened, not a actual dive!

Jan October 9, 2011 Driving down a back road in Pennsylvania years ago, I was hit by a deer. Yes, it’s true. The deer hit me. He was running, came upon a donarwwd hill and couldn’t stop. I happened to be driving by and didn’t see him til he was approaching from the driver’s side of the car. Like you, I was fortunate that the major force of the deer hit the front bumper and hood of my little car.
