German engineers presented the world’s largest ship, entitled “Solar Planet,” which runs on solar power and environmentally friendly besshumnym sudno (no clue what that is). It is 30 meters in length and has a width of 16 meters, while the surface of 500 square meters of solar photovoltaic panels that provide electricity to the ship engines. Brilliant. Now can models lie naked on the panels is my only question.

There’s lots of nuclear powered ships in the world’s navies, not just submarines and aircraft carriers but other nifty things too. And all but like, one of them have been powering around the planet since the mid-1950s without one single incident. But we can’t have nuclear power plants in the US ‘cuz it’s skeeeeery. Bah!!!
