Hahahaha. I had the exact same kind of assignment last term, except it was between the entire class, and not two people. I did the same thing. Basically took a boring story and made it awesome. A few people went along with it (they were cool), but then some chick completely ignored my entry and began from the person before me, and everyone continued from her. She was a bitch
There’s no way this happened. Think about it. How many days would that go for? The emailing back and forth, I mean, in order to write alternating paragraphs? You would always be waiting on your partner. Teachers only require that amount of time on serious assignments as opposed to fluff. Also the stereotypes we’re dealing with are a little too perfect.
I truly want to believe this is real, so I will take this as evidence of its veracity: both sides of the story are very poorly written, just like creative writing students would do it.
Plus: tea? Reflecting on relationships? I want Rebecca to make writing her lifelong dream, just so I can laugh thinking of all the rejection notices she must have received by now. Ha! It’s already cheered me up!
