You’re right about Ferrari leading the way as far as Italian style and class go but there are several gorgeous Lamborghini models out there (Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, Gallardo, Reventon, etc). You gotta remember that these cars above are concept cars, not the finished product that will be on sale. Like most concept cars, these are freakishly strange. I wouldn’t call them ugly by any means though. Ever see a Pontiac Aztek?
Ferrari has class? You mean Pininfarina HAD class…in the 60s. Now granted they still make some fantastic cars, although the really good ones can’t be driven on roads (FXX Evoluzione, 599XX) but style and class? Not much of that going around at Ferrari these days. The California has a fat arse and finicky design features and yet somehow those are actually eclipsed by the 458′s ridiculous styling. Then the 612 and 599 have front ends that look like they were ripped from a Panoz. Let’s not forget the complete lack of a manual gearbox in quite some time and a nerdy Italian version of iDrive.
Lamborghini meanwhile has the Murcielago SV, the regular old Gallardo LP560-4, the Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni Edition and the Reventon. Style and, in the Balboni Edition’s case, a proper manual. Ferrari needs to stop hiding behind their reputation built for them by Pininfarina in the 60s. The least they could do is win a few F1 races. Compared to McLaren they’re embarrassing.
I’d drive it, If I could afford one. I’d probably have a hard time getting in and out of it at my age, I mean I’am not old but I’am not that young either. I would burn some rubber with it.

I’ve yet to see the Chive lie and say “We took these pictures!!!” So someone else took the pics and the Chive posted them here for us to see…woop de doo! If they weren’t posted here, many of us would never see them. Would it really change your life if the Chive added where the pics came from?
