If this scene looks a bit odd it’s probably because the setting is a funeral parlor and this guy is dead. David Morales Colón, a 22-year-old Puerto Rican, was the victim of a violent shooting. Morales received one of the strangest wakes ever, dressed in casual duds and sunglasses atop his Repsol-liveried Honda CBR600 F4. Video here.
The Marin Funeral Home in San Juan’s rough Hato Rey neighborhood is making a name for itself with its unorthodox wakes. For example, they recently embalmed a man standing straight up for a multi-day wake.
