Quentin is the most painfully overrated individual I can think of. Sorry, but I just don’t like wading through 80 paragraphs of bullshit, mediocre script to get to one quality piece. His action sequences often go the same way with most being forgettable and the odd one being decent. Stupid entertainment for bandwagon-hopping masses, his bullshit doesn’t impress me.

Sorry but I dint agree with that I thinkbuis dialogue really does a good job of keeping the audience with the story whereas other writers may shy away from long scenes with just dialogue, quentin really does try to keep you with the story, I’m not saying all his movies are gold, I didn’t like jackie brown or death proof, I’m not so hot on pulp fiction either but he does do a really good job and has somehow made it as one of the most well known and respected independant movie makers around today

Way, way better one: that totally annoying dolly shot Spike Lee’s used in every film he’s ever shot, where the characters just stand there, pulled along on a damn rope or some such, while the background moves behind them, the whole thing shot low-angle. I mean, once – in a single film – it’s a funny device. More than that, it’s just an affectation.
