Gumpert is the name of the man who designed it. You might know him as the reason Audi is such a big deal as he’s responsible for the Quattro system and their numerous victories. Besides, the car makes the name not the other way around.

And you would be horribly wrong. These have been sold for a couple years now and are awesome quality. Think McLaren F1 rather than some racy kit car. It’s a road car that’s kickass on the track, not a street legal race car.
