HHNF, what’d the guy do? It’s a sport, she take the steer and ties in down after lassoing it. We may do stupid shit in the south, but we do untie it shortly after, if the steer is injured we give it medical treatment and it actually isn’t very often we just take an animal out back and put it down. >.> Dude just looking bad ass because he grabbed life by the horns.

Living less than a block from the county fairgrounds, I’ve watched my fair share of rodeos. They tie the poor things’ nuts on a very short rope to its tail or up over its back to the saddle horn to make it buck. If it’s not bad, i think I’ll find the tough cowboys while they’re sitting around in their high heels and tie their nuts back under their buttcracks with a rope that wraps up behind their necks. Try moving it. Oh, it hurts, but it’s okay for the animal?

I don’t believe animals are people, nor am I a vegan or activist. I find it sick how many ‘down’ ratings I got for my above comment, but just yesterday, everyone was upset over the poor duct-taped kittay. So, is a steer less than a cyoot kitteh just because it doesn’t live in your house? Try showing a pic of a guy tackling a kitty or puppy by it’s head and watch the epic shitstorm of animal cruelty outbursts.

HellHathNoFury, maybe check up on your rodeo knowledge. Just because you watched a few rodeos, doesn’t mean you’re an expert all of a sudden. They don’t tie the FLANK strap around their nuts, they tie it around their flanks. Explain how they tie the mares (female horses for those of you that don’t know) in the Bareback and Saddle Bronc event. Which most bucking horses are mares. It pinches a nerve is all, has nothing to do with nuts, come back when you’ve researched it a bit. That’s just one critique of your post on your rodeo knowledge, if you want some more just let me know

While I’m not too fond of the rodeo (for personal reasons) I have to agree with dogboy. There’s nothing wrong going on in that picture, it’s just perfectly (or poorly, depending on your view) timed. Plus, bulls are pretty damn sturdy. I HIGHLY doubt that it was hurt at all.
