HHNF…The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty…it’s true that she wasn’t able to give consent…she was after all, unconscious because an evil spell was cast over her. The prince didn’t rape her though. He loved her. He didn’t hurt her. He knew that if she was going to live again, he had to do this. And when she did wake up, she was absolutely into it. Read the book. It may disturb you in some places but it may turn you on and make you think about sexuality and what is “normal” and what isn’t. I’m reading the 3rd in the series…Beautys Release…now. It’s fascinating. Weird in many ways but absolutely worth the read. I wouldn’t recommend it for men who are uncomfortable with homosexuality or for teenagers who are just forming their opinions on sexuality. A woman who knows her way around & isn’t afraid of jack shit…she is a prime reader.

Back on topic though…these drawings are beautiful. I like the translucency of Ariel’s tail. Very nice work.

the scary part is in the original story that sleeping beauty is based upon, he tries to wake her but cant, so he rapes her. 9 months later she has twins one of whom sucks the magic splinter out of her finger and thats how she wakes up. They weren’t so much fairy tales as cautionary tales back in the day (17th century)
