RAF Tornado prank (2 Photos)

This photo was captured during a RAF high-speed training exercise in Lossiemouth. The photo came under immediate scrutiny. When asked for a response, the Ministry of Defense laughed it off as a “light-hearted moment” in which nobody was put in any danger. I like these guys.

(humming) … playin’ with the boys

  • thomas4som

    best ‘i’m with stupid’ ever

  • aosux

He should have more respect for the guy that controls his fate. Funny though.

    • HellHathNoFury

They’re most likely good friends. You pretty much have to be if you’re working together under such stress and trusting each-other.

      • aosux

Ya, I’ve seen Top Gun too.

        • HellHathNoFury

Never seen it, I think Tom Cruise is icky.

          • winston002

then your opinion on this matter is null and void

      • northerner

        For sure.

        • northerner

I was referring to HHNF’s first comment. Trusted “coworkers” under stressful jobs tend to have humor privileges others don’t…

  • stafferty

Please, for the love of everything holy in the world, tell me they were playing “DangerZone” at the time

  • Mattythegooch

Wash it all down with a nice oily game of volleyball with the boys??

  • Geoff

If that had happened in America, the pilots would have to have press conferences for weeks in apology before they were discharged from the Air Force. Good to see some other countries can enjoy themselves. haha.

    • Rusty

      Geoff, not so much.

Well, Air Force, maybe. They’re a bunch of tightasses over there, but Navy and Marine Corps aviators do stupid but fun stuff like that all the time.

Hell, even the Air Force gets to have some fun, in between hauling cargo around.

    • Kent

Um, no. You obviously know precisely nothing about the military or the air force if you believe what you just said.

They do REAL pranks all the time. As long as it doesn’t endanger anyone they don’t get punished for it.

      • Geoff

Of course they do pranks. I was just taking a jab at the media and them being a little oversensitive about matters that don’t matter.

I have immense respect for the people that protect this country and they deserve to have fun!

Where’s the idiot with the “there guys are murders” rant?

    • HellHathNoFury

Right above me. And no one are ‘murders’.

      • Anymouse

Nice try on the grammar correction. Just keep your mouth shut next time..Kay sweetie!

        • HellHathNoFury

Please tell me that you think, ‘there guys are murders’, is a proper sentence that makes a lick of sense. I do think he meant, ‘those guys are murderers’. That would make me feel much better if you are that stupid and trying to be disrespectful to me publicly.

  • Vihni

NOT a prank. Pranks have to have misdirection. Like prank calls eg. Fonejacker.

  • toilet paper

Good stuff. Even though I think the idea is pretty lame, I fuckin’ love the videos of our troops in Iraq “ghost ridin’ tha whip”, dancing around fully geared outside of Humvees and tanks. Anything to keep the spirits up, right?

  • goposaur

I’ve seen these guy tearing shit up in the Lake District – they’re the real deal. Let the back seater take his mind off of possible annihilation with a bit of levity.

god damn HHNF you are a fucking loser. Get a life and get off the chive.

    • HellHathNoFury

Alright, and I’ll bring my 100+ coworkers, friends and family that visit regularly and comment with me. I’m sure John, Leo and Bob will thank you.
