If you live in Chicago and have never visited Simone's Bar in Pilson, you should definitely check it out multiple times. Especially you north-siders in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wrigleyville, leave your striped button-down in the closet, get off your ass, and head south for a night of good music, sick atmosphere, craft beer (don't order a Miller Light striped-shirt-guy) and awesome food -the sweet potato fries are the shit.

I'd like to thank the academy.

Never been there, I lived on the north side…so I went to the Hop Leaf. I miss the Hop Leaf so much.
Dear chive,
Way to get behind all that is cool.

It seems pretty cool, but I like simple bars you can relax, get drunk in and not have to worry about a secrect passage opening up or having a the dog from duck hunt wacthing you (However I do think that picture is glorious).
I'm loving #12.
Doing commercials now?
#10 = Fake. There isn't a girl that hot south of Roosevelt.
So that is where you guys spend most of your time yapping instead of working…
looks like it's trying 2 hard to be cool. also looks expensive.
this post is spam. how much did you all get paid for this?
Fuck Chive Keep deleting my comments. xD
Amen. Glad I ain't the only one.
This is the greatest bar ever.
Except for the dumbo eared dude on the computer.:)
*jealous* I love the textured lights and say, everything about this place. looks homey and comfortable without being trashy.
this place looks like a piece of shit. ill stick to drinking miller lites and wearing button downs, thanks.
Been there….it was okay..nothing special. I'd rather sit back at Goose Island
I agree with the rest of the posts, it doesn't look like a great place to drink. Come to England and experience some nice old pubs where you can tuck yourself away and drink with friends in a pub with a fire going in the hearth.
