If this is modern toilet http://www.moderntoilet.com.tw/en/about.asp which it certainly looks like, then as far as I know it's originally from Taiwan not Japan as someone stated, we also have it in Hong Kong and Guangzhou (Mainland China). While I do hate it when people get east Asian countries confused get your facts straight before you call racist.
