then you're dumb. its tail has long fur, rats have almost bald tails with very fine hairs. plus its eats are to big, PLUS its way to small to be a rat.

No, it's a gerbil. Rats have hairless tails. If your rat looked like that, you were ripped off.

Both animals are more than likely family pets, raised together. Cats won't necessarily eat a rodent they have been raised with. Especially if they are well fed.
