Kopi Luwak or civet coffee, is coffee made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet and other related civets, then passed through its digestive tract. A civet eats the berries for their fleshy pulp. In its stomach, proteolytic enzymes seep into the beans, making shorter peptides and more free amino acids. Passing through a civet’s intestines the beans are then defecated, having kept their shape. After gathering, thorough washing, sun drying, light roasting and brewing, these beans yield an aromatic coffee with much less bitterness, widely noted as the most expensive coffee in the world. Although Indonesia is well known with this kopi luwak but Vietnam's fox coffee is the most expensive coffee in the world, it's 20 times more expensive than kopi luwak. Fox (Chon) in Vietnamese is luwak in Indonesian, I think.
Note: Vietnam is just after Brasil in exporting coffee. Brasil, Vietnam, Columbia then Indonesia.
    – Why fox coffee is that expensive?
The reason is the sense of human being is far less than natural fox's sense.
The natural foxes only select only the most delicous coffee fruits to eat.
Of couse, fox's products are all the best, most delicous coffee beans that can be produce by the tree.
Human can not do that, all human can do is collecting and mixing them all, human don't know what coffee fruit is better than others.

      – Why fox coffee is much more expensive than kopi luwak?
Because Indonesian use domestic foxes while Vietnamese collect products of natural foxes. The sense of domestic animals also far less than natural wild animals. And one more thing, it's extremely rare for the true fox coffee, only from 10-30kg/million tonnes of coffee per year.
The true fox coffee is not for sale actually. They are as gift for VIP, such as Hillary Clinton, on her trip to Vietnam

SARS came from this animal. They eat these things over there too. Anyone one wonder why so many nasty diseases come from over there? I don't.
