33 seconds before the crying started. This was such a great video, thank you to whoever took the time to put it together. Thank you to all of our troops over seas risking their lives for our way of life, and thank you to their families for their sacrifices.

I spent 4 years on a nuclear ballistic submarine and had to go through this 7 times. Granted, I wasn't in hand to hand combat but when you can't talk to or see you wife & kids for 90-100 days and your kids are little and you know you are missing them growing up it is really emotional. I lasted about 7 seconds until the girl recognized her Dad and I completely lost it.

Definitely balled my eyes out.. Thank you to the service men and women who fight for our country.

Chive and all Chivers. As a service member myself (Marines) I've been on deployment and am currently stationed overseas in Japan. There is no greater feeling in the world than coming home to your loved ones. I've seen this video at least 10 times, and it's a great reminder that there are people in our great country around the world who appreciate our service. Thank you all for your support, and Semper Fi!

Great video – what a shame they included that biblical nonsense on the end. Messed up the whole thing.

I was welling up within 20 seconds and bawling by 45 seconds… my appreciation has grown more and more for our troops since my boyfriend left for basic training about 3 weeks ago.

This the one and only candidate for world video of the decade. I'm a Brit, but it matters not who you are, only that they come home safely. Bless all our troops.

  • C-J

I watch this every couple of months to check I'm still human. Amazing.

The agents of fascists finally return home. Now maybe my tax dollars can stop going towards killing the little brown people overseas.
