Responsible parents teach their kids gun safety. Not teaching your kid how to behave around guns is IRRESPONSIBLE! It has nothing to do with liking or disliking guns. Guns are fact of life and either you like it or not, your kids will be exposed to them at some point of their life.
Anyone who does not get it is not very bright…

  • Ronbo

Be glad we are not neighbors, I'd post a sign on my lawn about your gun sentiments, I'm sure thugs would be happy to know this. Personally, you shouldn't worry about the dog, worry about the owner, I own guns and if you enter my home uninvited YOU WILL MEET YOUR MAKER. Not that I know you edward, but I'd venture to say your gutless and misguided. Guns in the hands of my brothers and sisters ensure your freedom. Gun education and safety are a fact of survival which is part of life.

Ronbo, you are the gutless one. Your guns don't impress me.

    • james

ronbo you are a pathetic fool. Wise up you creep!

  • James

My father tahght me how to handle firearms when I was about 9. The sense of responsibility he instilled in me with this act carries through my life to this day (I'm 46). I didn't then and dont now think that guns are toys (not that I don't have fun with them). Edward if you can't teach your children that guns are not toys then I ask you who is the parent?

  • Harry

Gentlemen, In as much as I do not agree with Edwards comments I don't believe that individual is teaching that little girl gun safety with no safety glasses nor hearing protection.

In a free country, that guy would be in jail

I agree with vlad and ronbo. I am a 20 year old female. My dad is a cop and was in the air force. I know about guns how to use them safely and have never and will never think of them as a toy. I was taught how dangerous they are and about the saftey rules. There is nothing at all wrong with teaching your kids about gun saftey.

  • lou

whats wrong with teaching responsible gun use? only a LIBERAL would object to this.

  • Toni

I agree with Harry…..where is the hearing protection and the eye glasses….But in the big picture I think that children need to know that guns are not toys- so teach your child gun safety……

and then there is the little pre-schooler in houston who took a pistol to school,,,,,,,,

  • Suprised101

There is nothing really wrong w/ this, it's not like he's just giving her a gun.
