is this dudes name bob?
i heard it was phil
This guy is my hero!
I want to say something funny, but I can't. Dude fuckin' rocks.
I cant watch this at work. I got all worked up as soon as he started to talk about family.
Ditto. I want to see the whole dvd.. Show it to family members who think they've got it rough. Put a little perspective on life…
Chive, you've justified your existence for another year.
Holy baby jesus!! I really deserve a barrel of HOT ASS after this……..
I don't need a circus freak to help me remember that life is not that hard…
And if you do need something like this to 'fix' your life then you are weak as hell.
In all reality he is preaching something good but people will treat this like a feel good movie, gets them roaring for a few hours or days then they are back to bitching about their simplistic meek little lives.
While your final statement has some truth to it, it doesn't make someone "weak as hell," to take inspiration from this to finally make a change they have been needing to make.
It does. A internet video of someone who has a worse situation yet is more empowered to live life positivity should not change someones life. If all someone needs is a little push then will power should provide just that.
Oscar the grouch has spoken. You can go back to your simplistic meek little life now and reflect on your greatest accomplishment, that was getting out of bed. Clap clap
Ouch, cut me deep there. How about you get back to smoking your weed and cocking your hat.
You sir, are one mean fellow.
There are a ton of Chivers out there who aren't living "simplistic meek little lives." Many of us go around the world helping people, or plan to. There are a lot of us who have lived lived such as. Not saying anything we've gone though is at any amount as this guy has.
It isn't a "fix" but inspiration to keep pushing though it all. Even at times when we feel so helpless, it's just a reminder why we do what we do. Watching this video reminded me, that not everyone has it as good. So it's why I need to keep fighting for those who can't.
If by a meek life and being weak pertains to helping those in need, or working for a future that is uncertain but at least keeping the memory that everything is possible. Then fine, I'm weak.
A circus freak?…Man YOU ARE a massive dick!!!,,,I have a daughter that was born with no arms and her legs messed up, only because her twin miscarried…Weve gone through her life wondering if shell be able to enjoy life to the fullest, fall in love, have children..Yea, people are idiots who think theyve got life so hard but the moral of the story is, if THIS guy can go through life without bitching and moaning all the time, maybe you can too…Sounds to me like youve got some asshole issues of your own, and its people like you that keep the hate going…dickhead
I have no idea how it feels to have no arms and no legs, but I almost did lose one arm.
Its scary stuff.
This is amazing!
Rock on dude!!!
Dude is a born again Christian. Inspiring story and a lesson for all.
Longest excuse thread in history
I saw this guy in person, giving this talk. Probably one of the best speakers I've ever heard, if only for the fact that you can tell he honestly is practicing what he preaches. And hell, it's gotten him this far into a life he's happy with, so I have to respect that.
man, this dood is fucking great! he laughs it off while others would have by long killed themselfs and he apparently fishes, golfs and swims! fucking amazing
yeah but coull he really….well, I guess he could kill himself it really wanted to…never mind…..
Great vid, very inspirational. I missed the name of the speaker though, was it Matt?
I see what you did there.
Isn't that what the replay button is for?
Pretty sure you missed something there…
HIs name is Nick Vujicic. Check out http://www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/ I got his dvd and he was hilarious and very inspiring. I also love how honest he is… I must say that if I was born like that I don't think I'd be doing as well as him to say the least.
I lost it at 2:30 with the "good luck, torso guy" hugs. It's not funny that he's disabled, it's funny that people get so sentimental around handicapped people, mostly cause they don't know what else to do.
Up next, Someone who gives a shit.
Dude rocks!……Chive…..you've done it to me AGAIN! How am I gonna explain a grown ass man tearing up at work?!?!?
lol, you guys suck
You can't miss what you don't have. He stated "People ask why I smile so much" and my response is: "That's about all that's left of you."
He makes up a small percentage of the population…about 1/2!
Up to here <—————-
Seriously, it's FRIDAY! Relax a little………
There's a good movie that he's in:
It's an indie film: The butterfly Circus, Directed by Josh Wiegle.
