im gonna have to agree honestly. i dont find it fair that troops' families are held to a higher esteem than other families either. It is a choice they make to join the military, and if they knew what they are getting into, they knew they had a high likely-hood of having to leave their families. I would find it far more touching if it were a video of families reunited after NOT choosing to leave. IE, kidnapped victims, people lost in wilderness for weeks, or whatever… a situation where they didnt EXPECT anyone to be gone. The troops, although admirable in their duties, only have themselves to blame for the sadness inflicted on their families by making the choice to join the military. Or perhaps it is the parent's team failure to bring a child into an environment where they have no choice but to endure periods of no mother or no father, bring them into a life where theres a much higher percentage of them losing a parent.
It is a choice you are too much of a pussy to make or begin to understand.
