I am so over the Moller Skycar, jetpacks & hovercrafts. One's old hat, one is impractical (and has never really worked) and one (as far as I'm aware) hasn't even reached practical testing in the 20 years since I first heard about it. I'll leave you to choose which is which.
The transparent toaster and cellphone are cool tho.
Honestly imho, flying cars will never happen because the risk is just too huge. All it takes is for just one fan or engine to blow and that car is crashing on some building below.
The cellphone is just clear plastic with a bunch of stickers on it.
Love the Back to the Future 2 pic….makes me want to go to Universal Studios and go on the ride where you chase Biff through time.
If youre talking about the one in Fl, brace yourself..its gone. Its been replaced with the Simpsons ride…Im still not over it, nor have I forgiven them for such an injustice
The danger lies in letting average people attempt to 'fly' these things!
I can't wait for the future.
So, what do you think?
I was all set to make a disapproving post about many of these being just fancy designs and/or not a futuristic item in any way beyond looks, but that last photo totally made up for it. Great ending
But we're already in the future.
Wow. That guy was dead on. Good link.
5 is in the bottom of the ocean now…Japan said f*ck you to it and rammed it
19, please remove the glowing top from the tatas…save the tatas
I do not want florecent fabric to ever come out. This is a absolutley horrible idea for two reasons.
1) Going to the movies would suck when everyone in front of your is glowing
2) Think about these two horrifying words, ED HARDY.
8) so much want, can haz?
I want #30 for Christmas!
What the hell is #25?
Lex Luthor's coffee table
30, so even in the future Volkswagen's will still be an uncomfortable place to have sex in
#1: I have always liked the idea of blending nature with architecture, but it seems like it will cause a lot of problems. Roots creeping in the mortar between bricks, risk of standing water everywhere, not to mention how crappy it must be to be the guy who mows the lawn and prunes the bushes on the 34th floor.
Thats the whole point of blending in with nature, you don't worry about roots, they become part of the architecture. Mowing the lawn and pruning the bushes would make you stick out like a dick in a cunt factory.
So, where's my fucking hover-board?
That's what I want to know!
32 is not real…
wow, in the future, everything is ugly…
I told you we have to many assholes that prefer to live in the past, the future scares the hell out of em.
hmm, unfortunately, in 2012…
#3… that is, without question, the most inefficient use of space I've ever seen. I would never cook "in" that thing. You don't even have enough space to prep anything.
#12 still using gas, that's no futuristic
#26 cool… but do the have a pool?
