Thank you Bob. Ahhhhhhhhhh. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • vinny

    • Peachy

he's a free climber, thats the awesome shit they do :).

      • DixonOrmus

lol he may or may not be a free climber but im pretty sure he just walked out from the nice marked hiking trail that the photographer is standing on

  • no name

    Sweeeeet pics.
    # 24 – don't do it, man!!

  • ADDkid

  • BigDingo

Wouldn't mind the names of these places along with the pics… in case I could somehow get there

    • Lisa Martin

Yeah, it'd be nice…but…at least they left the watermarks off this set. Step by step. We can't have our cake and eat it too…unless we bake it ourselves. In this case, it's the chives cake & oven. At least we get bites. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Seth

#5 is Yosemite right? can't remember the name but looks like it.

    • KWJ

      Yosemite Falls

    • Matt

      Yes, it is.

  • Jenni

That's some amazingly relaxing beauty. These should be posted in HQ!

  • Nelson Costa

Breathtaking landscapes! i would love to know the location of them ๐Ÿ™‚

  • illusionbuster

24 uses trick photography. That fisheye effect makes it look like the cliff curves way up. But look at the horizon and how tilted it is. Rotate it around so it's horizontal, remove the fisheye and the "bigass cliff" isn't nearly so deathly as it appears. It's a hella great effect though!

    • AnyoneForCoffee

Yep, spot on…..but "hella"? What are you, 12?

      • eleven

        11. Advanced for my age, mm?

    • Kevin

Looks badass to me. Alex Honnold free solo climb of Half Dome.

You should watch the video of the climb.

  • bubblerider86

wish i could be at any of these locals….instead of work….yep even on the side of that cliff would be fine.

#23: I think that is Scotland, that railway was used for the Harry Potter movies

    • @Triathlynne

      Yes! I've been there ๐Ÿ™‚

  • nooov

#2 Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia – had the pleasure of spending two days there this summer.

#7 is probably also from Plitvice, only the swimmers are shopped. Sadly there was no swimming in the park, and the waterfalls would've washed the kids and crap down stream..

    • mali sapun

#7 isn't shopped. it's river Krka, also in Croatia. And it's allowed to swim there. I recommend both places, they are beautiful. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • nooov

Ah, I see – I'll have that on my to do list, when i come back then.

    • DC Tur

#2 is epic! thanks for letting us know where it is!

  • MiPo1977

20, I want to walk through that doorway

  • IntheOffing

Pretty sure #19 is Bibury in the Cotswolds, England. I think the street is called Arlington Row.
    Gorgeous village.

  • Mclovin' it

Chive, I really love these pics you guys put up. I have a little request though… Could you guys find more of these in widescreen sizes? like 1680 x 1050. I'd love to make most if not all of these my desktop backgrounds but I can't becuase they're so small. Otherwise, keep up the great work! Chive-on!

  • Canadian1

#5 is Takakkaw Falls in British Columbia, Canada

  • RGH

I wish the Chive posted the locations where these were shot.

  • XAV

This is the drug of the future, mindscapes, once we've destroyed all natural beauty, that's all we'll have left.

  • equalizermax

This should be in High Quality post…
