I was thinking about this as well "gem", I think a post of the psychology of why people want to say this particular unmentionable F word. Then I began to think, why does it irritate us so?

Is it our hatred for the "F-word" poster that perpetuates the problem?

I think there is a psychological need to break a cherry every once in a while. It's a sad lonesome existence. The epic fail firsts…they are slightly amusing. The firsts that make me smile though…they are the ones that sneak a "first" in subtly. Like commenting on the 1st picture, and saying something about others as well. Or saying "first" in a different language. Or saying "Primarily, I think this gallery is awesome." If you're going to do a first, show some creativity! Contribute something meaningful to the conversation. Intelligence is sexy.
