  • Hymen Vagistein

"The pen is mightier than the sword" because the saying is "actions speak louder than words" not "actions are stronger than words" you fucking moron.

    • Douche

you sure showed him, you jewel you

    • Its-a me, Mario

See what happened there? Your logic got voted down on the internet. So, consumer advice: dont use logic on the internet, its of no use.

in all fairness, it is a dinosaur, give him a break. If a cat would have said it, saying it wrong would be cute.

  • BigDingo

    14 was probably the winningest

  • Prof. Cumbledore

11: If you are the first born child, then your dad was not yet a motherfucker until he nailed your mom after your conception. In this case your dad is a motherfucker by practice not definition.

9: Because the shutter and film in analog cameras was rectangular.

That being said Philosoraptor is hilarious and witty.

New One: This sentence is false.

    • Big Los

I too, came to the same conclusion in #11. Well done sir.

  • scooter

Would #18 be true as there are no full stops (periods for US citizens) to differentiate the end of the sentence. ie "the next sentence is true the previous sentence is false". Without the full stop it's just one sentence, so you don't know what came before and after that line! And is therefore not a linguistic impossibility.

eg Chive Sucks. The next sentence is true the previous sentence is false. Chive is the greatest!

  • mipo2010

I wonder how Philosoraptor feels about NWA…

    The best one ever:
Do you still ask a psychic out after she beats you up for cheating on her?

  • mipo2010

The pen is mightier then the sword because once you stab someone in the eye with a pen you have won the argument!!! Their point is automatically invalid due to the Bic fine point lodged in their cornea

    • JeffS

That logic wouldn't apply to a sword as well?

      • mipo2010

With the pen you might still be able to get a jury to believe it was an accident…Sword, not so much

  • duh

If a man has a crew cut then where are his short hairs?

  • HoJoon Choi

actually it's not. when he states his nose will now grow that is a lie at that present time and as a result his nose will grow. His nose growing to be true is a consequence of the past not of the new present.

    • Thisguyabovemeislame

I see your point and i raise you this, you are a complete douche-nozzle

      • HoJoon Choi

oh, I see that you are a member of the tea party: forget logic and intelligence, just get all riled up and use 5th grade vocabulary for taunts. Thanks butt muncher.

        • TheguyaboveUwasright

Actually you're wrong. If you're stating that it is happening now, the decision was made earlier. "Will" is used for future events if you are making the decision then and there. Once the decision has been made, one must use "going to". The sentence isn't logically, but grammatically, flawed. It should read, "My nose is going to grow now," to be grammatically correct.

…and if you're going to respond to a Chive post with a smarmy, better-than-you attitude, then yes, we ARE lame. (See what I did there?)

    • Nicnac

what if, while it is growing, Pinoccio says "my nose is currently growing" ?

      • SteamboatWillie

Then it is a true statement and it doesn't cause the nose to grow any additional amount than it's already growing.

        • Mook

You all realize you are arguing on a comment blog about a cartoon right?

    • dietroll

you're a north korean. your argument is invalid.

  • Wakka Wakka

well my dad is a motherfucker and I can prove it

    • Mook

He is, I will second that.
