This is Pionen, an underground data center that belongs to Sweden's largest internet service provider, Bahnhof. Located 30 meters under solid granite bedrock, it was built in a former bomb shelter and can withstand a direct attack with a hydrogen bomb.
This underground data center has greenhouses, waterfalls, and simulated daylight. If the power goes out, the backup power is provided by two German submarine engines. This place looks like the secret HQ of a James Bond villain.

I went in one of the caves in Bershtesgaden Germany(General Walker Hotel) one time, it felt weird to me. Working that deep under groung would take some getting use to for me.
I'd rather be here in the US. We've got at least one "underground lair" too. One I know of is called the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center and it comes complete with robotic(!!) mass storage systems for satellite images from around the world. The underground area's several football fields in size and several storeys deep. All the decades of satellite data come in handy each time we have stuff like earthquakes, pollution and tsunamis to study. What I wouldn't give to have a tour of that! Of course you'll only get access to the place if you have security clearance from the government (good luck with that!)
