I have heard that architecture school is actually harder than law or medicine. Why? I cannot fathom a single reason as to how architecture would be more demanding than law or medicine. They all have deadlines, they all require much study study time, labs, papers, projects, etc… but why is architecture so dang hard? Not judging, just wondering.
I don't know what sort of projects they are given in law school and medicine, but in architecture school most of the projects demand you come up with a fully worked out proposal of your own creation (usually a building or building complex), and then you have to perfectly draft that proposal and then you have to manually build a model of it. The last is usually done just before the dealine after you haven't slept for three days or more. I might be wrong, but I think law school and medicine mostly makes you memorise texts. (Which is hard too.)
No, since I work in a "fish bowl" too many people can see me, can't even come close to doing that. But I can appreciate the sentiments. Been THAT tired.
