Patrick, I’ll give you two answers to the CTS-V Wagon (15 Photos)

To begin with, I don't understand fast wagons. Why would you get a wagon over 4 sedan…unless you have kids. If you do, then why do you want a car for "blowing the doors" off other cars. But I'll play along. If you have to win a race and you want to feel safe going into a corner, I'd go with the Audi C5 RS6 Avant. It's got a twin-turbo V10 that get's you to 60mph in 4.6 seconds. Or get a Volvo V70 R. It looks like a nice wagon that happens to not be slow. Plus, you can get it for under 30k because they stopped making the V70 R in 2007. All this being said, get my first car, the Olds Custom Cruiser. It's a station wagon. Above all else, you don't have to worry about the kids scratching the doors with their bicycle. Ever had a station wagon, did you have it for function or racing other cars?

correct, and I knew that someone would make that point but it's still my answer

Agree that they completely dominate the caddy, especially with the benefit of AWD. Was disappointed to see that BMW did not continue the 535i wagon for 2010. EU gets all the hot wagons, we get the "crossovers" with little utility, style, or performance.

I will stick with my Mercedes E63 Wagon 😉

Volvo for the win!!! and people want wagons because they're truly legit. Throw snowboards, tent, hookers, etc. in the back. and beat some punk in a mustang that thinks he's the shit.

The CTS-V wagon can go from 0-60 in closer to 4 seconds, maybe 4.1. Either way, its almost half a second faster than the Audi, all the while looking much cooler (in my humble opinion), and most certainly costing less. Yeah, I'll take the Cadillac.

But I'll also propose another alternative: The Opel Insignia OPC Sports Tourer. That might be one of the best looking wagons on the market, plus it has 325 hp and AWD. If it was sold in the states, that would be my obvious choice!

Nice Buick wagon! I had 3 of them First was a copper celourod 1979 Estate Limited, then a dark blue 1990 Estate, and a dark brown 1989 Electra Estate. I also owned a dark red 1985 Pontiac Parisienne Safari. I really miss driving my old wagons. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
