Apparently this guy loved the TV show Mash so much that he decided to transform his backyard into one big set. Seems like a good enough idea, if you’re Hannibal Lecter. I can just imagine this guy’s friends talking about him behind his back, “Dude, did you see Tom’s backyard. WTF, man. I’m not going in that tent. I swear to God if he asks me to go in that tent I’m grabbing a large blunt object and walking behind him.”

This is awesome…. It reminds me of some guys office here in northern IL, this guy had TONS of stuff (original) from the set and heaps of things he would mail to the stars for their autographs…. most impressive

sorry, the real M.A.S.H. camp had mostly bare dirt around the tents. Anyone who grows that much grass in their backyard M.A.S.H. camp recreation is just not putting out much effort. The Backyard M.A.S.H. Camp Re-creators Society of America, of which I am the commanding Colonel, would give this an honorable mention at best. Unless of course he actually lives in it, and or practices medicine from the camp. That's extra credit.

But to really get in the spirit you have to wear fatigues and a bathrobe and spend all day drunk on bathtub gin while molesting nurses. It's really a lot of work to get the re-enactments exactly right.
