This is not good, how do you think the international community is going to deal with this situation? (18 Photos)

"Salman Taseer - Governor Punjab, businessman, media mogul, PPP leader – was gunned down outside a restaurant in Kohsar Market, Islamabad, by one of his own guards. The guard – reportedly, a Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri – was part of the security Elite Force depute assigned to keep Salman Taseer safe gunned down the Punjab Governor with as many as 27 bullets. Later the guard handed himself to the police and said that he had killed Salman Taseer because of his vocal opposition to the Blasphemy Law."

Pakistan is, at least notionally, an Ally in the GWOT. I've got a bad feeling things are about to take a rather serious turn for the worse. Without Pakistan, there is no overland resupply route for our forces in Afghanistan.

Also add in the fact that Pakistan has nukes and a long-standing pissing match with their neighbor (India)…the possibilities are truly frightening.

*EDIT:* I took off on a tangent, and blissfully ignored the question at the head of the article. The international community will respond as usual: sternly worded diplomatic memos, plus the usual side-channel deals that go along with them.

I agree with what you're saying…but the international community also knows about Pak and India. As in, they both have nukes.

Normally I’m against killing but this article slaugthered my ignorance.
