The beloved pizza truck from the original ‘Toy Story’ movie is hidden in every single Pixar motion picture except for Incredibles. True Story.

That damned ball with the red star on it shows up in pretty much every Pixar film, too. But sneaking in the pizza car is way more fun, so props on the Easter egg.

There's also the same tree in a lot of the pixar films: the tree jesse was left under in Toy Story 2 is the same one in Bug's Life and some others im sure of it.

If I was at a Barbecue, and there was no meat, I'd be like "Hey Goober, where's the meat?

    • blipflip

I think they're meant to be the same place, cheeky little easter egg by pixar…awesome.

    i wonder why not incredibles?

    • Captain Insight

The Incredibles takes place in a different (though ambiguous) time setting. The cars in some scenes suggest it's the 50's or something. It wouldn't make sense for the truck to show up.

      • http://www.facebook.com/5dobermans Beth Vogel

This truck is like a late 80s Nissan or something… not from the 50s. And it IS in the Incredibles.

    • pix

incredibles was made when Pixar temporarily split from Disney so I imagine that they didn't have the rights to use the pizza planet mobile or logo.

  • Art

'A113' is in all Pixar movies. It was their original studio. You'll see it on license plates, holding cells and Buzz Lightyears butt. You can't make this $#!t up.

    • MikeofLA

It was actually the classroom number of a few of the head animators, but it is used by quite a few that went to CalArts… here's some more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A113

  • hmmmm

    It's Pixars own Wilhelm scream

    • Its-a me, Mario

the Wilhelm scream is always obvious. Seeing as they changed things around for Ratatouille and Up like that…..the pizza car is not that obvious (or annoying).

      • Toots McGee

Funny you mention that… the Wilhelm scream is in each Pixar movie as well!!

  • bubblerider86

is it wrong that i already knew this? yay for the 'YO' truck ^_^

  • Vince

Maybe the chive should sneak in a pic of Denise Milani everyday…. :p

  • XOS

  • DuDe

    That truck I want.

  • astrolad

It's in The Incredibles as well. Hard to spot, but it's near the end when they are driving the RV on the freeway.

    • Big E

I was wonderin why it wouldnt be in the incredibles since theres all that city stuff at the end

  • Henry Gibson

Pixar stuffs mountains of inside jokes into every one of their movies, going back to Toy Story and earlier. Near the end of Toy Story Buzz an Woody are trapped in an egg carton under a Binford toolbox. Binford Tools was the fictional tool company that appeared in Tim Allen's show Home Improvement. Tim Allen is of course the voice of Buzz Lightyear.

There are entire websites that are devoted to all the inside jokes of individual Pixar movies. The Chive could post one inside joke a week and have enough for a year of content. And that's just counting the ones that have a visual payoff.
