sadly, because I love them, most "odd laws" are just specific instances of common generic laws not really spelled out in the law. The claim is true, but misleading.
e.g it is illegal in cleveland ohio to keep a 6 year old palomino horse in your back yard in the winter.
Because it's simply illegal to keep any farm animal in the city. (with obvious exceptions like mounted police)

Most of the real ones are not enforced, but in theory could be.

In Baltimore it's illegal to be mean to a clam. Furry or otherwise.

Also, adultery is subject to a $1 fine, but only for the woman.

It is also illegal to sell a car in the State of Indiana. Privately or professionally on Sunday. I found this out the hard way.

Same in Colorado, All car dealerships are closed for that reason…. I was close to doing that with a private sell once but the guy buying my Jeep reminded me to wait until Monday-

#7 is right on target. Anyone working in the medical field that deals with babies (lab, OB nurses, etc) will tell you that volume increases big time around September. I've seen it many times over the years.
