some of them look pretty cool, i like #1 #2 #9 but some of them are weird for me, like #16

Self Expression of being sexy

I think it's amusing that most of the girls that colour their hair like this do it to be "different" but they all end up looking the same. How are they not attention starved? Brightly coloured hair is surely going to attract attention to them and they know it. Their hair is just saying, "Look at me!!!!!!" Pathetic.

The one thing I would point out is that yeah, the color's great right now. Anyone who has ever dyed their hair a similar color will tell you that it washes out. Not totally, not immediately, but it does. That deep cerulean blue will be sea-foam green inside of 6 weeks. And silver turns to dishwater grey. Red turns orange-pink. They don't stay, and they look bad for waaaaay longer than they look good.

Like all hair, clothing, etc choices both men and women make, some of these work for the particular person and some don't. I don't see it as essentially any different than any other dye job. Acceptable colors are a matter of cultural values,

I dyed my hair blue a couple of times, although one time it rained and it was spray on dye, needless to say it didn't end up so great on my face and t-shirt XD

I dunno, I think it’s hot. Except on #21. He just looks like a doof. But I think he’d look like a doof with regular colored hair.
