You're comparing "Kill Bill" and its obviously adult theme of assassination, violence and gore with Disney films, and saying "Kill Bill" is better for kids? Granted, Disney has its dark side, but, please, that is completely ridiculous! I am amazed at that.
Since you asked, we are doing great with out two teenagers. They're both creative, athletic, confident, well-liked by peers and adults, and they're a joy to be around. No middle fingers here. They're at the top of their respective classes academically in a very difficult private school and more importantly than that, their teachers constantly comment on what caring and gentle hearts they have. Believe it or not, it's all true. We're doing just fine.

And, in my opinion, anyone who thinks it is appropriate makes me wonder aloud what other clearly inappropriate things might be happening in this child's life. If it is a pattern, then the parent has to accept the idea that nothing happens without consequences. . Nothing. Kids have always "lived what they've learned". We are all a product of our childhood experiences.
They may get lucky and raise a perfectly normal, healthy person to adulthood. They may not. Time will only tell…
