This is Elliðaey Island off the coast of Iceland. It was given to Bjork by the government in 2001 for bringing international attention (tourism) to Iceland. Elliðaey is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

Ironically, Iceland does not realize we have their country to alien overlords for unleashing Bjork on the rest of us.
wow. Sure hope she doesn’t need urgent medical care when she’s there…or run out of toilet paper. Instead of telling kids, “don’t play too close to the edge of the road” it’s “don’t play too close to the edge of the land!”. I couldn’t imagine being quite that far away from everything…without utilities…but you couldn’t wish for a lower crime rate!

looks cool, but i'm just wondering how you would make a living for yourself? Don't think i saw any kind of garden or animals….i don't think it would be the best island in the world since it gets really cold, but a nice place to visit it seems like
