NEW RULE: anyone over the age of 12 using the word "EPIC" is a pathetic asshole. cheers

    • quintus

Mr. Deichman, that rule is epically awful. Maybe the people you hang out with are not mature enough to know when to use the word properly? Maybe you're having a bad day and that's why you're looking at this post on theChive? Maybe you're scumbag steve's cousin, dickless deichman? I don't know, and I never will, nor will I care.

Revealing frustration through negative outbursts may relieve stress but will not ultimately change your attitude. This post is awesome and doesn't deserve negative comments to tarnish its effect.

      • Shoestring

Haha, that was an "EPIC" response.

    • Brad

The landscape in #17 is epic.

      • Sean

Your comment regarding Shoestrings comment regarding the previous post was EPIC.

Thanks! I scrolled down through here just to see if anyone knew where this was. As soon as I looked at it I thought "Wow,… looks like an impact site to me".

Actually, it is what remains of a collapsed volcano. Mt Mazama had a massive eruption, it fell in on itself and this is what is left. The little Island is called Wizard Island.

Yeah, been there….. in my dreams :(

  • RAC

Is that a Borg cube in #12 ?

    • http://www.facebook.com/BigDaddyLuvv Bill Ivory

No, it's El Capitain Mountain in Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park. It's the largest single continuous piece if granite on the planet. The mountains on the right are called "the three brothers".
(They're named for the three sons of Chief Tioga who was the last Chief of the Miwok tribe as the indians were being run out.) The water we're standing in is the Merced River which is very cold and just thinking about it makes me want to pee as I'm typing this. So, off to the potty we go. By the way, if I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer.
