I was trying to decide on a movie to watch tonight. That's one problem solved.

I went to Grosse Pointe (you forgot the 'e' on Pointe) South High School when this movie was filmed. They wanted to use the school and students as extras in the movie. The city council rejected their filming license application because they thought the movie might "tarnish" the Grosse Pointe image . The day we found out was a sad, sad day.
