I had a dream about the Chive last night. I remember specifically telling a girl in it that two Morning Awesomenesses are as good as one Daily Afternoon Randomness… Well, almost as good.

It was cut from the theatrical release. It's on the DVD, though.

LOTR was one rare case where the movie is better than the books. I just finished the books last night and they were actually rather dull Tolkein goes on and on and on about trivia, genealogy, geography, etc. The films are just SO good.

if you really want nostalgia get the huge extended special edition dvds of the films. gives you a whole new appreciation for how good these movies really were
